Can I bring my dog to The Charmant?

The Charmant Hotel is dog friendly. We allow dogs of any number and size in guest rooms for a one-time fee of $75 + tax. Guests traveling with a dog are advised to affix a tag with the hotel’s address to the animal’s collar and to bring any necessary supplies, such as a leash, carrier, bed, food, bowls, toys, treats, medications, and waste bags. We ask that dogs not be left unattended in guest rooms, for their own comfort and well-being. The Charmant Hotel observes the Wisconsin Food Code which does not allow any dogs in the Food & Beverage outlets. This includes the Parlour, Lobby Bar Lounge, The Restaurant, and Rooftop Terrace. If you have sensitive dog allergies, please contact the hotel directly so we can ensure to place you in a room that has not had dogs in it before.

How do I get to The Charmant?

From La Crosse Regional Airport
Turn left onto Fanta Reed Road after exiting the airport’s property via Airport Road. After half a mile, turn right onto Dawson Avenue and continue straight onto Bainbridge Street. Take a left onto Clinton Street then another left onto Copeland Avenue for 1.6 miles. Take a slight right onto 2nd Street N before turning onto State Street to reach our front entrance.

From Minnesota
From I-90 East/US-14 East/US-61 South take exit 276 for US-14E/US-61 S towards La Crescent. Turn left onto US-14E/US-61/I-90 ALT to cross the Mississippi River and enter Wisconsin. After three miles, turn left onto 4th Street (one way.) Finally, turn left onto State Street.

From Madison, WI
Follow I-90 West and keep left at the fork just past Oakdale to stay on I-90. Travel 42 miles before taking exit 3 towards La Crosse then turn left onto Rose Street/WI-35 South. After 3.5 miles, take a slight right onto 2nd Street then a left on State Street.

Our House Car Service is complimentary for hotel guests and is available from the hours of 7am to 10pm every day. We can provide transportation to and from La Crosse Regional Airport in addition to other locations throughout the city. Prior arrangements are required. Can I park at The Charmant?

Our valet parking service is available 24 hours a day, 7 days a week. Valet parking is included for one vehicle per room as part of our amenity fee. Street parking is available around the hotel, and we caution you to look at all posted parking signs to ensure you are parked legally and will not receive a ticket. The hotel is not responsible for parking tickets issued.

What is The Charmant’s early departure fee?

The Charmant Hotel will charge an early departure fee of $75 for any reservation that departs earlier than original departure date unless a 48-hour notice is given of the early departure.

What is The Charmant’s cancellation fee?

The Charmant Hotel has a 48-hour cancellation policy. Any reservation canceled within 48 hours of arrival date will be charged for one night’s room and tax.

Is there an amenity fee? If so, what is included?

Yes, an amenity fee of $20 per day is included in the nightly price. This includes a variety of services and amenities, such as: a one-time $15 food and beverage credit per stay, welcome chocolates, daily drip coffee or $1 off specialty beverage or hot tea at The Parlour  daily, valet parking for one vehicle per stay, access to high-speed wireless internet, and concierge services. Guests also enjoy a complimentary dessert with the purchase of an entree at The Waterfront Restaurant and 30% off their full order at Pizzeria Dolorosa. Show your room key to receive these discounts. Does The Charmant have a gym?

Yes! Our 24-hour fitness center has two Cybex treadmills, a Cybex Total Body Arc Trainer, and an adjustable workout bench. The gym offers open-matted space for stretching and for using free weights, stability balls, and other workout aids. Off-site fitness options are also available.

Does The Charmant have a spa?

We do not have a spa in the Hotel. However, we can coordinate services for our guests with a local spa and salon.
